Product Details:

An eccentric reducer is a pipe fitting that connects two pipes of different diameters, distinguished by its flat side, which keeps the pipe's top or bottom level, preventing air/vapor accumulation in horizontal liquid lines (flat side up) or allowing drainage in gas/steam lines (flat side down), and is crucial for pump suction to avoid cavitation. Unlike a cone-shaped concentric reducer, its centerlines are offset, creating a uniform flow surface for liquids or a drainage path for vapors, maintaining pipe elevation for support racks or control valves.

Eccentric Reducers are used in piping systems to connect pipes of two different diameters. The reducer has two parallel ends that are offset to one another so that the fitting has an edge inline with both pipe sizes.

Offset Design: One side remains parallel (flat) to the connecting pipe, while the other side slopes down to the smaller diameter.
