2PE steel pipe, namely two-layer polyethylene anti-corrosion steel pipe, is a high-performance pipe widely used in the transportation fields such as oil, natural gas, water supply and drainage. Its anti-corrosion structure mainly consists of an inner adhesive layer and an outer polyethylene layer.

The inner adhesive layer acts as a bridge, which can tightly bond with the surface of the steel pipe and has good adhesion to the outer polyethylene layer, ensuring the integrity and stability of the anti-corrosion coating. The outer polyethylene has excellent mechanical properties. Its high strength enables it to effectively resist external impacts such as bumps and squeezes during transportation and laying, protecting the steel pipe body from damage.

In the production process, 2PE steel pipes are strictly controlled. First, the steel pipe needs to undergo surface pretreatment. Impurities such as rust and oil on the surface are removed by processes such as shot blasting to make the surface of the steel pipe reach a certain roughness, enhancing the adhesion between the adhesive and the steel pipe. Subsequently, the adhesive is coated and the polyethylene is extruded and wound. The entire process has a high degree of automation, ensuring uniform thickness and stable quality of the anti-corrosion coating.

Inner Packaging

• Plastic Film Wrapping: For anti - corrosion steel pipes exported to areas with high humidity, the plastic film can avoid the initial corrosion risk caused by humidity problems during loading and transshipment.
• Rust - Preventive Paper Wrapping: For anti - corrosion steel pipes used in marine engineering, for instance, they may come into contact with humid marine air during transportation, and the use of rust - preventive paper can provide additional protection.

 

Outer Packaging

• Steel Strap Bundling: After arranging multiple anti - corrosion steel pipes neatly, steel straps are used for horizontal and vertical bundling and fixing.
